Once your admission to the Physics Doctoral School has been approved and you have registered with the UGA, you are authorised to sign your doctoral contract and begin your research work in your host laboratory. Although your host laboratory will become your main day-to-day contact, your Doctoral School will still be your main point of contact for a number of administrative formalities : you must re-register with the UGA each year, after reviewing the past year with the members of your CSI and requesting re-admission to the Doctoral School. The Doctoral School is there to help you with any difficulties you may encounter during your thesis and can direct you to a wide range of resources. Finally, you can also take part, via your Doctoral School, in various festive events organised by the Doctoral College, apply for international mobility or get involved in scientific associations.
