The annual “Doctorat Handicap” campaign is launched every year at the end of January by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation. The “Doctorat Handicap” campaign is a key part of the inclusion policy pursued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, in partnership with higher education institutions. Its aim is to encourage students with disabilities to pursue doctoral studies.
You are eligible for this campaign if :
You are currently enrolled in a Master's 2 program or equivalent, or
You are currently in your first year of doctoral studies,
AND
You have been recognized as having a disability or have begun the process of obtaining this recognition from the MDPH (Departmental House for People with Disabilities).
The calendar :
End of January : Launch of the campaign.
End of March/beginning of April : Deadline for submitting your application (application form and attachments) to the Doctoral School of Physics with approval from your thesis supervisor and laboratory director. Please note! Your application must be sent to the ED PHYS in a single WORD and PDF document (including the signatures of the thesis supervisor and laboratory director).
Your application must include :
Your doctoral contract application form for persons with disabilities
Your CV, enabling the quality of your training in relation to your thesis project to be assessed
A copy of the decision notification or a copy of the acknowledgment of receipt of your application file from the MDPH (local disability office) or other supporting document
Your thesis project, maximum 3 pages, with a provisional 3-year schedule
If applicable, a copy of your master's degree or equivalent
If applicable, your corresponding transcripts.
Applications will be reviewed by a committee in mid-April as follows :
Candidate interviews (format adapted on a case-by-case basis)
Ranking of applications
The UGA Doctoral College will inform you of the results of this campaign from the Ministry by the end of June at the earliest.
