PhD defence at the UGA Physics Doctoral School

Préparer le doctorat
The PhD defence is the culmination of the thesis. It is the opportunity to present and discuss all the results obtained during three years (or sometimes a little more) of research work to the members of the jury, made up of specialists in the field. The doctoral degree is only awarded once the PhD has been successfully defended. Given the stakes involved, it is important to prepare as well as possible, by consulting the regulations at an early stage and respecting the deadlines and the various stages of the procedure.
